Job brief

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele primarily in the Midwest regions of the US. The ideal candidate will deploy account strategies in conjunction with Management, to achieve goals and objectives set for the business.

The focus will be to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with both new and current clients.

Responsibilities
  • Drive new client business in North America for product engineering solution & services, tooling, prototypes and show properties. Industry focus: Automotive, Aerospace and General Industry
  • Responsible for demonstrating new account development within assigned territory and/or strategic market segments
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer needs & satisfaction
  • Manage the entire sales cycle to include: Research/lead generation, initial contact and qualification, relationship development, proposal development, negotiating and closing new opportunities.
  • Monitor competitive and market activity and provide feedback and recommendations to VP Sales
  • Compile and review quantitative sales data and react rapidly to changing trends or new competitive threats and opportunities
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Account management of customers on an ongoing basis with full responsibility for account management, retention and growth of designated customers.
  • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
  • Effectively prepare and deliver sales presentations.
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Coordinate customer relationships between internal and external teams.
  • Eager to expand the company with new sales, clients, and territories
Requirements
  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or a relevant role in the design/development field, in the transport sector.
  • An understanding of development, pre-production and volume tooling/fixturing would be an advantage
  • Demonstrated and proven sales results
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, administration, or related field
    • Excellent oral and written presentation skills, Ability to build rapport and negotiation skills
    • Proficient in PC software applications including strong Word, Excel skills and CRM Software.

    • Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
