CNC Miller – Late Shift | £30,000 – £35,000 + Shift Allowance ( possibly more for the right candidate) | Atherstone

We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established family-owned precision engineering company based in Atherstone. Known for its supportive team environment and high-quality output, this business supplies into sectors such as automotive, rail, and general engineering — and is now looking to expand its skilled CNC team on the late shift.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a stable, close-knit business where your experience and input will be genuinely valued.

🔧 The Role:

  • Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines with Heidenhain and Fanuc controls.

  • Working to tight tolerances to produce high-precision, low-volume components.

  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.

  • Collaborating with the wider team to meet production and quality targets.

🕒 Working Hours:

  • Monday to Wednesday: 4:00pm – 2:00am

  • Thursday: 3:00pm – 12:00am
    (39 hours per week over 4 days – enjoy 3-day weekends!)

  • KIHEUNG U1200N with Heidenhain probe

  • CME FS-4

  • MTE BT4200

  • DAH LIH MCV1450 (x2)

  • DAH LIH MCH800 Twin Pallet with Renishaw probe

  • HARTFORD 1270-40 & PR01000

  • HAAS

  • Bridgeport Interacts II (x3)

💰 What’s on Offer:

  • Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum + shift allowance

  • Negotiable rate depending on skills and experience

  • 22 days holiday plus Bank Holidays

  • Overtime available

  • Permanent role with long-term progression potential

  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller

  • Confident programming with Heidenhain and Fanuc controls

  • Able to work from engineering drawings with minimal supervision
