We are looking to hire 2 x Design Engineers on an initial 3-month contract basis to work on an exciting and engaging project.
We’re looking for people who can come in and hit the ground running as there is a tight turnaround time on project completion.
This is a three car build of a vintage model and we are looking to deliver perfection. You will have experience with low volume production projects and be an expert with Catia V5.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Working on Interior and Exterior content for a vintage car project
- Able to work to tight timescales
- Engineering and designing parts from scans
- Apply knowledge, skill and experience to design and implementation of new innovative solutions
- Follow design processes and procedures
- Work within a small team to engineer and develop parts for a 1970s vintage car.
Person Specification – Essential
- Excellent Catia V5 skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Experience within design studio environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to meet deadlines.
- Product Knowledge and Industry Experience.
- Results-Oriented.
- Self-Motivated
Person Specification – Desirable
- Experience in the Automotive industry
- Experience on working on low volume production projects
- Experience working with designers to meet their requirements.
