Envisage is currently working with a well established Automotive manufacturer within the West Bromwich area that are looking to add Maintenance Engineers to their busy operation.
We are looking for Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers with an Electrical or Mechanical bias. The position will involve carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance duties on a variety of machinery and equipment.
Main Responsibilities
▪ Ensure all PPM tasks are completed on time and to the required standards.
▪ Use RCA to identify true cause of failures and report corrective action necessary.
▪ Ensure all departmental documentation is completed on time and to company standards.
▪ Carry out proactive and reactive maintenance on a variety of equipment.
▪ Rapid response to customers’ demands with a quick diagnosis of the issue and an effective fix.
▪ Develop and recommend solutions to improve equipment availability to Maintenance Manager.
▪ Ensure all work undertaken is done via the company safety rules and procedures including the undertaking of risk assessments, method statements, safe systems of work, and safe lock off procedures.
▪ Be aware of incident reports and work with operational managers to promptly implement solutions to prevent re-occurrence.
▪ To co-operate readily on the development & implementation of autonomous maintenance (TPM).
▪ To undertake any other duties that may reasonably be requested.
The role is offered on a permanent basis and will involve working on a morning and afternoon weekly rotational shift.
