We are working closely with an exciting client based in Warwickshire who are currently looking for a Project Coordinator to join their team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination and execution of various projects within our organisation. The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget and meet the specified quality standards. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
Main Tasks:
- Creating project timing plans: Develop comprehensive project schedules that outline key milestones, deliverables, and dependencies. Ensure all stakeholders are aware of project timelines and monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle.
- Budget proposals: Collaborate with project managers and finance teams to develop accurate and detailed budget proposals for projects. Monitor project expenses, track budget allocations, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Tracking team holidays: Maintain a centralised calendar to monitor team holidays and time-off requests. Coordinate with project managers to ensure sufficient headcount is available for projects and arrange for temporary resources if required.
- Working with 3rd party companies: Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to gather quotes, negotiate terms and establish partnerships for upcoming projects. Maintain strong relationships with vendors and ensure timely delivery of services or products.
- Creating statements of work: Prepare comprehensive statements of work (SOW) for projects, outlining project scope, objectives, deliverables and timelines. Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure alignment and clarity in project expectations.
- Working with finance and legal: Liaise with finance and legal departments to set up new suppliers, ensure compliance with financial and legal requirements, and facilitate the procurement process. Assist in contract management and vendor performance evaluation.
Essential Attributes:
- Previous experience with project planning across large teams.
- Deep experience with Excel
- Speaks fluent English.
- Great communication skills, even with fully remote team members
