We’re looking for a passionate Head of Sales San Francisco – Engineering to help expand our footprint and drive growth in the automotive industry and beyond. You will have the full support of the group including Envisage’s UK HQ. Your Role
As an integral part of our team, you’ll be at the forefront of building relationships, discovering new business opportunities, and promoting our first-class services. Your responsibilities include:
Sales Development
- Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities within the automotive sector, working with manufacturers and suppliers across the Bay Area and the US.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of leads using various outreach strategies, including cold calls, emails, and industry networking.
- Guide clients through the entire sales process, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Identify opportunities to expand services, particularly in engineering and product development.
Client Relationship Management
- Foster lasting relationships with new and existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact.
- Collaborate with internal recruitment and engineering teams to deliver customized solutions that meet client needs.
- Maintain high client satisfaction and promote repeat business.
Market Insights and Strategy
- Conduct industry research to understand trends, client needs, and competitive landscapes.
- Use CRM tools to manage sales activities, keep accurate records, and strategize effectively.
- Provide valuable feedback to refine and enhance our service offerings.
Performance and Analytics
- Achieve or exceed sales targets consistently.
- Prepare reports and forecasts to inform management of progress and strategies.
- Analyze performance metrics to improve conversion rates and client retention.
Who You Are
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred.
- A proven track record of 5+ years in sales, business development, or a related field.
- Experience in the automotive or engineering sectors, or a background in staffing/recruitment sales, is highly advantageous.
Skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to build and nurture professional relationships.
- Self-motivated and driven, with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and relevant software tools.
- A problem-solver with a consultative sales style.
