A leading software supplier to the automotive industry is looking for a Triage & Integration Engineer – ADAS to join their Coventry based team on a permanent basis.
This is an on site role, Mon-Friday for someone with over 5 years of experience in the field.
Day to day, you’ll be analysing and identifying any issues or bugs in the autonomous driving codebase, providing timely and effective fixes to ensure minimum downtime and working collaboratively with external teams to resolve any problems related to software, hardware or integration.
Will suit someone with strong debugging skills in POSIX and/or Classic AUTOSAR, proven experience with Trace32 or JTAG debuggers and expereince with CI/CD, GIT and JIRA.
You’ll be able to work effectively within a team and have very strong communication skills. Any experience in Cybersecurity and QNX is a bonus.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Analyze and identify issues or bugs in the autonomous driving codebase, including algorithms, vehicle control systems, and sensor integrations.
- Provide timely and effective fixes to ensure minimal downtime and improved system performance.
- Liaise with third-party vendors, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to communicate identified issues, gather input, and coordinate on solutions.
- Work collaboratively with external teams to resolve any technical problems related to software, hardware, or integration in autonomous systems.
- Take ownership of assigned tickets or tasks, ensuring they are resolved within the agreed-upon Service Level Agreement (SLA) timelines.
- Track progress, maintain detailed records of issues, and follow through to ensure timely resolution of problems.
- Work extensively within the Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environment, including setup, configuration, and validation of hardware and software components
- Conduct system-level debugging, logging, and data analysis to identify root causes of issues within the HIL environment.
- Identify, triage, and fix issues during HIL validation and vehicle-level testing for autonomous driving systems.
- Collaborate with other teams such as simulation, testing, and development teams to ensure smooth integration of new code and features in both HIL and vehicle setups.
- Continuously monitor, identify, and suggest improvements to enhance system performance, stability, and robustness based on the issues encountered.
Required Skills:
- Strong debugging skills in POSIX and/or Classic AUTOSAR.
- Experience with CI/CD, GIT, JIRA.
- Proven experience with Trace32 or JTAG debuggers.
- Experience in the programming languages (embedded C/C++).
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
Good to have skills:
- Experience in Cybersecurity.
- Experience with QNX.
