Position Description:

• Working within the Creative Design environment providing high level surface development
• Primary role requirement interpreting 2D sketch and design input to into high quality 3D digital data sets
• Using surface development toolsets and supporting design review. This could include leading a small team dependent on experience
• Prospect of making position permanent.

 Skills Required:

• Fluent in the use of Alias automotive/surface
• Interpret design vision and sketch into 3 Digital form
• Knowledge of Alias visualisation tools and VRED

Skills Preferred:

• The ability to work within an extremely fluctuating environment as part of a dedicated team is essential.

Experience Required:

• Digital surface development with proven years’ experience.
• The ability to work as part of a team working within the creative design phase including ensuring all aspects of the project are completed and delivered successfully
• The role will require the candidate to interpret design sketches/instructions directly from the design team
• The scope of work is extremely varied as we develop data for a number of customers throughout the Design development stage
• The team is responsible for the creation of INTERIOR & EXTERIOR data sets from the early Theme development stage up to & including handover to the A-Class surfacing team.

Experience Preferred:

• Understanding of the principle use and set-up of VRED is advantageous as is an understanding of polygon modelling.
