Role:

  • All aspects of Model making/ Hard model making/ pattern making/ full scale model assembly/ Gapping/ SDRM/ ACM/ Show car build/ Surfacing.
  • Having worked and able to work on high specification Show cars
  • Expertise in working with all types of materials. (Wood, plastics, metals, 3D printing, mold making, composites, etc.)
  • Proficiency in table saw, lathe, band saw, and manual mill operation
  • Ability to use automotive spray paint equipment
  • Proficiency in all types of hand tool operation
  • CNC programming, power mill, etc
  • Follow Supervisor directions, ensuring models created are accurate and effective.
  • Able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment to deliver consistently high-quality work and troubleshoot technical problems on assigned tasks.
  • Interface effectively with Designers in other departments to ensure the seamless integration of work between disciplines.
  • Have an extreme level of craftsmanship
  • Great communication skills and ability to collaborate with all teams within the company
  • A flexible schedule and willingness to work flexible hours to coincide with Design Team milestones and deadlines
  • Automotive Background – Having worked in the luxurious concept or show car builds

    • Solid track record of successful system-level integration
    • Experience working with Class A surface data
    • Experience with castings, extrusion process, stampings, and their advantages and limitations
    • Working knowledge of Aluminum and Magnesium structure joining techniques.
    • Proof of excellence in your past position while demonstrating profound creativity in resolving mechanical design problems
    • Experience in the full life cycle, from concept to prototype to full production
