As a Lead Auditor, Greenhouse Gas (GHG), you’ll undertake both virtual and on-site verification assignments for UK Climate Change Program services, particularly acting as Lead Assessor or Technical Reviewer for UK-ETS and other voluntary verification projects including development of proposals for new and existing clients. As well as acting as project manager for larger client projects.
- Carry out development work to internal procedures to introduce new products and services
- Act as product manager for one or more department services, support business development/sales activities, accreditation management, developing proposals and tenders, approving technical content and client liaison.
- To manage the development and maintenance of the required internal quality procedures, documentation and templates from a technical and accreditation perspective and manage staff training and sign off for nominated schemes.
- Act as project manager for larger client projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role, you’ll need a background in environmental auditing (or consulting), climate change or emissions inventory verification and will have extensive experience with greenhouse gas (GHG) standards (GHG Protocol and ISO-14064).
You’ll be degree educated (preferably with an engineering and/or climate change related subject component). You’ll be qualified (or willing to train) as a Lead Auditor for ISO 14065 and GHG Verification.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills and will be confident in interviewing, questioning and presenting. You’ll enjoying working in complex and challenging work environments and have the ability to work under pressure and work with many tasks at the same time.
