We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading precision manufacturer in Coventry that operates in a modern, clean environment with state-of-the-art CNC machines including Haas, Matsuura, Mazak, and Mitsubishi, all running on Fanuc controls. The Role:
- Set and operate CNC milling machines (Haas, Matsuura, Mazak, Mitsubishi)
- Work from detailed technical drawings and route cards
- Perform tooling and offset changes, tip changes, and basic program adjustments
- Carry out quality checks using measuring equipment (verniers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
- Complete production documentation and update shop floor systems
- Support 5S and TPM activities to maintain a clean and safe work area
- Contribute to continuous improvement and collaborate with a friendly team
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience setting and operating CNC milling machines
- Confident working with Fanuc controls
- Strong understanding of technical drawings
- Background in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
- Reliable, proactive, and quality-focused attitude
Package & Benefits:
- £15.00 – £17.00 per hour DOE
- Overtime available with uplift
- 33 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)
- Day shift hours:
- Mon–Thurs: 06:30–14:45
- Friday: 06:30–12:30 (early finish!)
