Are you an experienced CNC Miller Operator/Setter looking to join a well-established, family-owned engineering business with a strong pipeline of work and a genuinely supportive team culture?

We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading precision manufacturer in Coventry that operates in a modern, clean environment with state-of-the-art CNC machines including Haas, Matsuura, Mazak, and Mitsubishi, all running on Fanuc controls. The Role:

  • Set and operate CNC milling machines (Haas, Matsuura, Mazak, Mitsubishi)
  • Work from detailed technical drawings and route cards
  • Perform tooling and offset changes, tip changes, and basic program adjustments
  • Carry out quality checks using measuring equipment (verniers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
  • Complete production documentation and update shop floor systems
  • Support 5S and TPM activities to maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and collaborate with a friendly team

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience setting and operating CNC milling machines
  • Confident working with Fanuc controls
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings
  • Background in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
  • Reliable, proactive, and quality-focused attitude

Package & Benefits:

  • £15.00 – £17.00 per hour DOE
  • Overtime available with uplift
  • 33 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)
  • Day shift hours:
    • Mon–Thurs: 06:30–14:45
    • Friday: 06:30–12:30 (early finish!)
