Development Engineer
Location: Gloucestershire  
Salary: £30k-£40k

We’re looking for a Development Engineer to join our clients Technical team and help create advanced composite and polymer-based solutions for defence, marine, security, and automotive applications.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead development projects from concept to production
  • Create new materials, products, and processes
  • Plan and run test programmes for validation
  • Support business development with customer interactions
  • Produce technical reports, proposals, and presentations
  • Act as a key technical contact across teams and suppliers
What You’ll Bring
  • Degree in Materials, Mechanical, Aerospace, Product Design, Composites, or similar
  • 2+ years industry experience
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Organised, detail-focused, and confident handling multiple projects
  • Awareness of composite materials
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Eligible for Security Clearance
