Master Vendor Services
Our Master Vendor service offers a streamlined recruitment solution. We will work with you to understand your requirements and offer a solution for your business model.
Our service removes the administration away from you. We manage the fulfilment and performance to streamline processes such as timesheets and invoicing.
A dedicated Account Manager will work as your single point of contact; and can provide an onsite presence to assist your internal staff if required.

Project Support
Full project support is available – this involves full contract packages that are led by industry experts, from design and prototype build to include full engineering support and studio space rental if required.
We can provide experienced engineers with a designated team lead to carry out your assignment, either on-site or off-site at our engineering offices. This eliminates any IR35 risks and allows for continuity.
- You control results of deliverables during the program with agreed review meetings and gateways.
- You receive one periodic invoice for all deliverables fulfilled reducing areas such as time to approve timesheets.
- Work carried out will be through our Envisage Technologies division with team support through Envisage Recruitment.
- We have an in-house network of engineers and designers we liaise with and can seek advice from on specific requirements.

IR35 Compliance
IR35 was introduced in 2000 and is a set of tax regulations designed to tackle tax avoidance by contractors. It aims to determine whether a contractor should be considered an employee for tax purposes.
Historically in the private sector the contractor would determine their employment and IR35 status. This responsibility shifted to the employer in April 2021 for medium to large businesses that engage with contractors.
Inside or Outside IR35
The legislation aims to differentiate and define genuine self-employment and a worker who should be considered an employee for tax purposes.If they fall inside IR35, they are considered an employee so you, the employer, will be responsible for deducting and paying income tax and National Insurance contributions on their behalf. If they are outside IR35 the contractor will be the one responsible for those payments.
The Impact on Employers
IR35 creates an increased administrative burden because there is a time-consuming process to assess the contractor’s employment status either done in-house or by reaching out for expert advice. Failing to comply with the legislation can result in legal consequences so it is crucial assessments are done correctly and accurately to remain compliant.If a contractor is considered inside IR35 this can have an impact on a businesses budget. Some contractors may prefer to work with businesses that contract outside IR35, which could lead to a reduced number of available skilled contractors for specific projects.
